The Jackson X Series Spectra Bass SBX IV in the color Matte Blue Frost is a modern 4-string electric bass that impresses with its sophisticated design, impressive sound variety and high playability. Developed for ambitious bassists who want maximum control over their sound both live and in the studio, this bass combines eye-catching aesthetics with uncompromising technology and an attractive price-performance ratio.
The offset body in Spectra design is made of poplar wood and has been specially designed for balanced weight distribution. The extended upper horn ensures ideal balance on the strap and a high level of playing comfort - even during longer sessions or gigs. The matt Blue Frost finish and black hardware, including the distinctive 2x2 Jackson headstock, stylishly round off the modern appearance.
The full-length maple neck with graphite reinforcement and scarf joint ensures optimum stability and sustain. The neck has a high-gloss finish and, with its 12"-16" compound radius on the bound laurel fingerboard, offers comfortable chord playing in the low registers and precise solo work in the high frets. A total of 24 jumbo frets are available, with white dot inlays and white bindings on the neck and headstock.
The two Jackson medium-output humbucking pickups offer a wide tonal palette - from powerful, aggressive tones to warm, differentiated sounds. The 2-way toggle switch can be used to activate a coil split, which enables single-coil sounds. The push/pull volume potentiometer allows you to switch between active and passive switching at any time - particularly practical if the battery runs out. A blend control and an active 3-band EQ are also available for targeted sound shaping.
The high-quality features are complemented by the Jackson HiMass™ hardtail bridge, which ensures precise tone, improved sustain and stable intonation. The sealed die-cast tuners
The Jackson X Series Spectra Bass SBX IV is an extremely versatile, modern electric bass for players who value expression, flexibility and playing comfort. With its sophisticated electronics, solid workmanship and stylish design, it is a first-class choice for beginners with high demands as well as for experienced musicians looking for a reliable all-round bass.
