Manufacturer – Kala, a Leading Ukulele Brand

Kala is one of the best-known and most popular ukulele manufacturers worldwide. The brand stands for high quality, outstanding craftsmanship, and excellent value for money.

With the Makala series, Kala specifically targets beginners and offers instruments that are easy to play while delivering a compelling sound. The Kala Makala KA-15-C Bundle Concert Ukulele Mahogany Starter Set is a perfect example of this philosophy.

Technical Details – Warm Tone and Comfortable Playability

The concert ukulele included in the Kala Makala KA-15-C Bundle Concert Ukulele Mahogany Starter Set impresses with its balanced size and warm, full sound. The concert body shape offers more volume than a soprano ukulele while ensuring comfortable playability.

The top, sides, and back are made of mahogany, a wood known for its warm, mellow tone. The mahogany neck feels comfortable in the hand and promotes a relaxed playing posture.

The rosewood fingerboard ensures a comfortable playing experience and precise response. With 18 frets, the ukulele offers plenty of scope for various styles and techniques.

The scale length of 377 mm (14 7/8") and the overall length of 615 mm make the instrument particularly easy to handle and versatile—ideal for beginners and advanced players alike.

Equipped with a GraphTech NuBone nut and bridge, the ukulele delivers clean intonation and excellent sound transmission. The factory-installed Aquila Super Nylgut strings further ensure a clear, balanced sound.

The satin finish not only gives the instrument an elegant look but also enhances the natural resonance of the wood.

A major advantage of this bundle is the extensive range of accessories: a padded case protects your instrument during transport, while the chromatic clip-on tuner makes tuning easier. The included strap provides additional comfort when playing while standing, and an extra set of strings ensures long-term reliability.
