The classic digital piano is the Kawai CA401. Featuring the new Shigeru Kawai EX Competition Grand Piano sound and Progressive Harmonic Imaging technology, the CA401 is the successor to the CA49, which retains the popular Grand Feel Compact keyboard. The grand piano used for sampling is a unique instrument used exclusively in international piano competitions and was prepared specifically for this purpose. The recording of this new reproduction of Shigeru Kawai's flagship piano was recorded from the player's position and features a brilliant, clear sound with an expressive response.
In addition to a new speaker tuning, the CA401's speaker system also benefits from a new power supply that offers particularly stable performance, optimally supporting the amplifier's work in all situations and ensuring clearer sound.
Also new is the integration of Bluetooth Audio in addition to Bluetooth MIDI. Both components use the latest version 5 standard for lower latency, more stable connections and better sound quality.
The CA401 features a new intuitive control panel design and a 2.5" OLED display.
The case design has also undergone some changes. Notable among these would be the pedals that have been moved back for an ergonomic, comfortable position and the new note holder pins.
