The Kemper Profiling technique allows the creation of a very precise sonic image (profile) of an existing amplifier configuration (including speaker & microphone pickup). Thanks to the many internal editing options, such as various

Floor effect emulations (up to 4 simultaneously), master effects, equalizers, gain, amp definition, power sagging, etc. can be used to edit the created sound far beyond the possibilities of the original amplifier, but the Kemper Profiling Amplifier is also delivered with a large number of outstanding amplifier profiles, so creating your own profiles is not absolutely necessary. This makes it possible for the first time to exactly reproduce the sound of your own amplifier, to modify it if desired and to have it available for practicing, in the studio or on stage without having to lug around a lot.

Kemper Profiler Remote gives you full control over your Profiler Amp. The easy and intuitive to use footboard allows you to control and program your Kemper amp without any previous MIDI knowledge or tedious studying of user manuals. The large, illuminated display provides all important information and is easy to see even from a distance and in poor lighting conditions. With the help of five robust footswitches, which can be freely assigned via variable effect banks, you can navigate safely between five ad hoc selectable programs. Up to four switches can be assigned to control different parameters of a Kemper profiler or for the effects integrated in the remote. Up to four additional footswitches and/or expression pedals can also be connected to the board. The Profiler Remote is connected to the amp via an Ethernet cable and does not require its own power supply. An additional delicacy is the integrated Looper function.
