Sounds

The SD90 features fantastic stereo grand piano sounds (Classical and Modern) and a new, authentic vintage electric piano with uncompromising multilayer sampling, long natural decay and extremely high sound quality. The SD90 also includes a rich, renewed sound library with new orchestral sounds including Electric and FM Pianos, Strings and Brass both as solo voices and ensembles, Basses, Synths, Guitars and the original sounds of Tonewheel organs with real samples of Slow and Fast Rotor. Thanks to their natural length and vibrato without sampling loops, some of the new solo sounds like Violin, Flute, Oboe, Soprano, Whistle and Peruvian Flute will allow you to give your playing a deeper emotional expression than ever before.

Live Drums

The SD90 achieves up to 100 new audio drums with acoustic and electronic loops and an impressive variety of over 500 Latin percussion grooves. The system is compatible with Audya Series User Audio Drums @ and offers users the ability to import new custom audio drums into the unit.

Live Guitars

The instrument contains an enormous library of more than 100 new Audio Live Guitars. Among them is a strumming folk guitar (great for unplugged songs), rock and dance electric guitars, gypsy patterns and semi-acoustic grooves for smooth jazz. Together with the Audio Drums and Bass sections, the Live Guitars provide the perfect accompaniment for your songs.

Launchpad

Launchpad is a new environment of the SD90 that offers previously unimagined possibilities in composition and modern live performance. This amazing application allows you to combine up to 12 pads for a single scene, with each pad sounding as an audio drum, bass, guitar or percussion groove. This function uses internal modeling or any external wav files imported into the unit. Individual ranges can also be imported from the internal styles, or the musician can write their own Arranger Chord sequences. An additional song mode allows automatic scene change. The user can record short sequences in real time, synchronized with the other parts and controlled with sophisticated play modes, unleashing endless musical creativity. Up to 6 scenes are available for each individual Launchpad project. Up to 2048 Launchpad projects can be programmed. Unlike other similar tools, the SD90 Launchpad is fully interactive and allows the player to select the root of their performance simply by playing the appropriate chord. With the filter and a dedicated keypad, it is possible to vary the sounds of each pad by changing the cut off and resonance in real time.

Styles

A great selection of 400 styles with audio drums and Latin grooves. Each style features 4 arrangers, 4 or more fills, 4 breaks and 3 intro endings with drums, bass, 5 chords, groove and 3 arranger variations. New live band and unplugged styles with the following basics: audio drums, live guitars, piano and bass backgrounds. Both the right hand ( Lead ) and the 4 ABCD Arranger sections can be assigned 4 different sounds. The arranger system of the SD90 is absolutely intuitive and allows you to change the sounds, volume and effects of any style and save it as a USER style. There is also a new Style Editing function that allows you to record up to 128 bars. This can be used to create styles from scratch or modify an existing style. In MY LIST you can store up to 64 of your most popular styles for instant access.

Modeling

Modeling is a versatile application of KETRON Arranger that allows you to select and control hundreds of templates for drum, bass, piano, guitar, synth and other orchestral sections within a style. The sensational modeling features have been expanded even further in SD90 with new Live Guitars, new Bass and Synth Bass lines, new Synthesizer sequences and even new Audio Drums. But that's not all ... into the Modeling function you can also import your own created midi sequences and use them within the arrangement. The Modeling function makes creating personal styles easier and more creative than ever before.

User Memory

An extremely large memory space of up to 400 Mbyte (rewritable) has been provided for the custom sounds and additional KETRON libraries. The SD90 can be regularly updated with new sounds, drum samples or arrangements.
