Description

Knosti Disco-Antistat BiDest 1 Liter High-Purity Water

High-Purity Special Water for Perfect Record Care

Thorough yet gentle cleaning is essential for preserving the lifespan and sound quality of vinyl records. That is exactly why the Knosti Disco-Antistat BiDest 1 Liter Ultra-Pure Water was developed—a lab-grade, bi-distilled specialty water that stands for the highest purity. It is the ideal companion for preparing high-quality cleaning solutions in combination with the Disco-Antistat Ultraclean Concentrate and all standard record cleaning systems.

Unlike commercially available distilled water, such as that sold at hardware stores, Disco-Antistat BiDest is water that has been completely demineralized through double distillation. All dissolved substances, such as salts, minerals, and organic residues, have been removed—the result: nearly pure H₂O for applications where the highest purity is essential. This prevents residues from forming during drying and ensures that your records are cleaned as gently and effectively as possible.

Knosti – Quality from Germany for Your Vinyl Collection

For decades, the name Knosti has stood for high-quality record care products. As a German brand manufacturer, Knosti offers well-designed solutions for vinyl enthusiasts worldwide—from manual cleaning devices to specialized cleaning fluids. With Disco-Antistat BiDest, Knosti offers a complementary product that is optimally tailored to the needs of delicate vinyl surfaces.

The combination of Disco-Antistat Ultraclean Cleaning Concentrate and the BiDest specialty water presented here creates a cleaning solution that is virtually unmatched in terms of efficiency, material compatibility, and residue-free performance.

Technical Details and Applications

The Knosti Disco-Antistat BiDest is a bi-distilled water of the highest purity, which is also used in laboratories and the cosmetics industry. The 1-liter container is sufficient to produce—in combination with 40 ml of cleaning concentrate—approximately 1 liter of ready-to-use cleaning solution. The recommended mixing ratio is 1:25.

The complete absence of dissolved minerals or impurities guarantees streak-free, residue-free drying—a significant advantage in vinyl record care, where conventional distilled water often leaves invisible residues. Its high purity ensures that the cleaning agent’s effectiveness is not compromised and that the delicate vinyl surface is optimally protected.

This specialized water is universally applicable and suitable for all types of records, regardless of the cleaning device used. Whether LPs, maxi singles, or singles—using BiDest as the basis for cleaning always yields professional results.

By the way: Disco-Antistat BiDest can also be used for purposes other than record cleaning—for example, in laboratory settings, in photography, for cosmetic applications, or anywhere else where the purest water is required.

Why You Should Choose Knosti Disco-Antistat BiDest

If you want to get the most out of your vinyl treasures, you shouldn’t compromise on cleaning ingredients either. With the Knosti Disco-Antistat BiDest 1-liter bottle of ultra-pure water, you get the ideal base for making a high-quality cleaning solution—especially when combined with the Disco-Antistat Ultraclean Concentrate.

While many users initially resort to standard distilled water, the differences often only become apparent during the drying process: Residues, streaks, or invisible deposits can impair the sound quality over the long term. With BiDest from Knosti, these problems are a thing of the past. The water dries completely without leaving any residue, ensuring that the cleaned records remain in top condition—both visually and sonically.

For discerning collectors, DJs, or audiophile music lovers, Disco-Antistat BiDest is therefore the ideal choice—a small detail with a big impact on preserving the value and sound quality of your collection.
