With the opsix SE Platinum KORG gives its high-end Altered FM synthesizer a limited edition special model in the spectacular "Platinum" design. The opsix SE Platinum offers 6 operators and an intuitive control concept based on a clear operator mixer with color-coded faders and knobs. With its premium 61-key keyboard and aftertouch, as well as polyphony expanded to a maximum of 80 voices, this Japanese-made instrument represents the pro version of the KORG opsix that meets even the highest demands. The elegant yet sturdy metal case features a silver-colored aluminum control panel and stainless steel side panels, giving it an excitingly futuristic look. The preset sounds of the opsix SE Platinum have all been reworked to include the new aftertouch functionality, and new additional sounds have been added. What remains is the incredibly versatile Altered FM sound generation from the opsix, which can cover no less than six different synthesis forms with FM, subtractive synthesis, virtual semi-modular synthesis, virtual analog synthesis, waveshaping and additive synthesis. If the 40 factory-prepared algorithms don't deliver the desired sound, you can create your own algorithms in no time at all - for each sound program individually, if necessary! The virtual patchbay offers no less than 12 different routing options. Combined with the high-quality effects, of which up to three can be used simultaneously, and the powerful, polyphonic step sequencer with motion sequencing, this creates a variety of sounds that hardly any other hardware synth is capable of delivering on its own. And to ensure that the instrument is well protected during transport, it comes with a matching KORG hard case.
