The Laney IRF Dualtop Guitar Top 60W is a compact, powerful amplifier top for guitarists looking for maximum flexibility in a handy format. With two fully-fledged channels, an output of 60 watts RMS and numerous practical connection and control options, the IRF Dualtop is suitable for live use as well as for studio or home use.
The IRF Dualtop has two independently operating channels, each with its own sound characteristics. Channel 1 offers three selectable modes: Clean, Rhythm and Lead - for everything from transparent cleans to rich overdrive. With Natural, Bright and Dark, channel 2 allows three different sound colors, each with its own character. The selection is made conveniently via the integrated toggle switches. A channel selector switch allows direct switching between the two channels.
A classic 3-band EQ with bass, mids and treble is available for shaping the sound and affects both channels. In addition, the gain and volume can be adjusted individually for each channel. The integrated pre-boost switch with LED display provides additional dynamics and punch - perfect for solos or distorted rhythm parts.
The IRF Dualtop is equipped with a wide range of connections. A 1/8" stereo aux input is available for external sources - ideal for playbacks or practice tracks. The FX loop with return and isolated send output enables the integration of external effects devices. A balanced XLR DI output is available for recording or direct connection to the PA, including switchable emulation. A ground lift switch prevents ground loops.
Three 1/4" outputs are available for connecting loudspeakers, including a dedicated 8-ohm output. For quiet practicing or direct monitoring, the top has a 1/8" stereo headphone output, which provides a realistic playing experience without annoying background noise.
With compact dimensions of 178 x 377 x 184 mm and a weight of just 4.66 kg, the IRF Dualtop is the ideal companion for rehearsals, small gigs or the home studio. The soft-start on/off switch ensures gentle operation. Despite its small size, the device offers a variety of sounds and connections that can otherwise only be found in larger systems.
