Description

Laney IRF Leadrig 112 60W Guitar Rig

The Laney IRF Leadrig 112 60W Guitar Rig is a powerful yet compact combination of the Laney IRF Leadtop 60W guitar head and the Laney GS112 guitar cabinet with a 12-inch custom speaker. This guitar rig offers a balanced blend of versatile tube tone, flexible features, and a portable design—perfect for guitarists who want to deliver a clear, dynamic sound both live and in the studio.

Laney IRF Leadtop – Versatile 60-Watt Guitar Amplifier

At the heart of the rig is the IRF Leadtop head with 60 watts RMS of output power. With a single channel but comprehensive controls including Boost, Gain, Volume, Treble, Middle, and Bass, the amplifier offers plenty of flexibility for a wide variety of genres. Thanks to the Clean/Lead switch and a separate Lead Bright/Dark switch, the basic tone can be finely tuned—from crystal-clear cleans to assertive lead tones.

Extensive connectivity options for modern setups

The IRF Leadtop is equipped with numerous inputs and outputs: a classic 1/4" instrument input, a 1/8" stereo AUX input for playback, and a 1/4" FX return for external effects units. On the output side, there are three 1/4" jacks for speakers (8 ohms), line out (100 ohms), and a transformer-isolated FX send. A 1/8" stereo headphone output allows for silent practice with a full sound experience.

Convenient switches for live performance and recording

Thanks to the Max/1W switch, the power output can be adjusted to suit the environment—ideal for the studio and quiet playing environments. A built-in soft-start on/off switch ensures a gentle startup that protects the equipment. The combination of sound quality, features, and compact size (weighing only 3.67 kg) makes the Leadtop the perfect centerpiece of any setup.

Laney GS112 – matching guitar cabinet with a 12" speaker

The rig is rounded out by the GS112 guitar cabinet, equipped with a 12-inch custom-designed speaker and 80 watts RMS power at 8 ohms impedance. This cabinet delivers a balanced, powerful sound with well-defined mids—ideal for rock, blues, and modern clean tones.

Solid build quality and stage-ready design

The plywood cabinet features black metal corners and a comfortable handle. Rubber feet and coasters ensure stable footing, whether on stage or in the studio. With dimensions of 43 x 57.8 x 35.8 cm and a weight of 13 kg, the cabinet is easy to transport—perfectly matched to the Leadtop.
