This subwoofer extension makes the LD CURV 500® array system even more powerful. 300 Watt RMS and 1200 Watt Peak for bass reproduction provide a good punch in the low frequency range. Of course, additional array satellites can also be connected here, which are supplied with a power of 160 watts RMS and 640 watts peak. The required power is supplied by two Class-D power amplifiers with switching power supply. The 10-inch woofer sits in a black plywood bass reflex cabinet. The 325 x 383 x 491 mm housing with PA protective coating weighs 16.5 kg and can be easily transported with three ergonomically shaped handles. In addition to a DSP-based multiband limiter, protection circuits against short circuits, overheating or overload ensure safe operation. Hum noises caused by voltage potentials can be prevented with the Ground-Lift function. The M20 threaded flange is integrated for the installation of an optionally available spacer rod. There is a five-pin XLR input and a five-pin XLR output for system cabling. Satellites are supplied via the Speakon-compatible socket.
