LD Systems Maui 44 G2 Product Details

Description

The LD Systems Maui 44 G2 is a professional column PA system with plenty of power, excellent sound and many technical extras. These include DynX® DSP technology as well as aptX™ and AAC encoding for high-resolution Bluetooth streaming and TrueWireless™ stereo for wireless stereo pairing of two column systems. Thanks to the outstanding performance, the many technical features and the compact design, even large rooms can be sounded evenly and inconspicuously. The system is also very easy to set up and take down, thanks to guide bolts and magnets for stabilization.

A 1500 watt Class D amplifier delivers a maximum sound pressure of 132 dB over a frequency range of 37 to 20,000 Hz. The upper Vertical Array column houses four 0.5" HF speakers and six 3.5" HMF speakers. The lower vertical array column houses six 3.5" MF speakers. All of these speakers have excellent dispersion characteristics and can thus convince with a homogeneous sound. A powerful 15" woofer is installed in the subwoofer, which ensures powerful basses. With the help of the subwoofer's cardioid function and another subwoofer positioned in the opposite direction, the dispersion behavior can be improved even further.

Another key feature of the LD System Maui 44 G2 is its enormous versatility. Concerts in clubs, halls and outdoors, conferences, speeches or even the sound reinforcement of a sports festival can be easily realized with this PA system. In addition, the simple set-up and dismantling, the intuitive operability, the TWS and Bluetooth function and the DynX® DSP technology are a guarantee for easy handling. The system can be operated in both stereo and mono mode. An incoming stereo signal or a signal transmitted via Bluetooth is internally summed to a mono signal. When two systems are wirelessly connected using the TWS function, the system paired with the Bluetooth device becomes the master unit and the stereo extension becomes the slave unit. This means that all stereo signals transmitted via Bluetooth are also played back in stereo without having to connect both systems with a cable. However, this does not apply to line signals! With the wired stereo variant, both systems are recorded with the respective mono signal.
