The LD Stinger MON81AG2 is a particularly compact active monitor with a wide frequency response and 116dB maximum sound pressure for versatile use on stage.
The 8" coaxial loudspeaker with integrated 1" tweeter driver achieves a dispersion angle of 75°x75° which benefits the versatile applications as a stage monitor. The coaxial arrangement results in a very homogeneous sound image over the entire radiation range, with a very low tendency to feedback. The active monitor is driven by a Class AB amplifier with 80W RMS power, short-circuit protection and a limiter for reliable operation. An XLR/jack combo socket and the XLR output are used to connect and loop through the signal. A volume control, LED indicators and the IEC power socket complete the rear panel connection. The elegant 15mm multiplex bass reflex cabinet is coated with durable lacquer and features an ergonomically milled handle and metal grille to protect the speaker. The monitor angle is 35°.
