The LD Systems U505 IEM HP set consists of a transmitter, a portable receiver, and professional in-ear headphones. All components are optimally matched to each other and deliver a monitoring experience of the highest caliber. Wireless transmission operates in the 584–608 MHz frequency range, where up to 12 systems can be operated simultaneously—perfect for bands or stage productions with multiple musicians.
The transmitter (LDU505IEMT) supports 12 channels and can be operated in mono, stereo, or focus mode. The RF transmit power can be flexibly adjusted to 2 mW, 10 mW, or 30 mW—depending on the required range and interference conditions. A 3-band EQ with parametric midrange control allows for precise sound shaping, while a switchable limiter provides additional hearing protection. The signal-to-noise ratio of 93 dB and a total harmonic distortion of less than 0.3% guarantee clean signal transmission. Balanced XLR and 6.3 mm jack inputs are available for connecting audio sources. Thanks to the OLED display and intuitive menu system, operation remains convenient even under live conditions.
