Description

The Catalyst CX 60 is a 60-watt two-channel 1x12 combo amplifier with 12 Helix-derived amplifier voicings. It performs like a traditional guitar amp while offering the increased versatility of a modern amplifier.

The Catalyst CX family consists of three two-channel combo amps that perform like traditional guitar amps but offer the versatility of modern amplifiers. They feature 12 amp voicings derived from the award-winning Helix amp and effects processor - from pristine clean to modern high-gain - and each amp voicing is matched with a custom boost type. There are also 24 HX-quality effects covering four effect categories. Other features include rugged construction, a tap/tuner button, XLR line output, an effects loop, a power amp input for using the Catalyst CX as a powered speaker, MIDI functionality, a 2-channel USB recording interface and power output options. The free Catalyst Edit app for desktop and mobile devices offers extensive editing options. An optional LFS2 footswitch provides even more flexibility, and an optional cover protects your combo. From the 200-watt Catalyst CX 200, which can hold its own on almost any stage, to the 60-watt Catalyst CX 60, perfect for practicing, recording and performing in small venues, there's a Catalyst CX amp for every player.
