The Loog X Fender Stratocaster Sonic Blue 3-string children's guitar combines the iconic design of the legendary Fender Stratocaster with a child-friendly concept that makes it easier for children to start playing the guitar. Developed for children aged 6 and over, this guitar is not only a visual eye-catcher, but also impresses with its well thought-out construction with three strings, light weight and extensive learning material.
The reduced number of strings enables children to pick up chords and play melodies more quickly - without being overwhelmed. Thanks to the identical tuning of the first three strings of a classical guitar (G, Bb, E), what has been learned can later be easily transferred to a 6-string guitar. This makes the Loog X Fender Stratocaster the perfect basis for a lasting musical introduction.
In collaboration with Fender, an instrument was created that combines tradition and modern learning methods. The Loog Stratocaster is inspired by the famous Fender shape and retains the characteristic Stratocaster design - scaled down and adapted for children. Children learn on a real instrument with an authentic look and feel right from the start, which significantly increases motivation and self-confidence when playing.
In addition to the guitar itself, the scope of delivery also includes numerous child-friendly learning materials: access to the interactive learning app (in English), chord cards, picks, a sticker set and the "Leo Fender for Kids" booklet. This teaches guitar playing in a playful, visual and interactive way.
The body of the guitar is made of lightweight paulownia wood, which makes the low total weight of just 1.1 kg possible - perfect for children's hands. The neck and fingerboard are made of robust maple and ensure a stable feel. With a scale length of 524 mm and a total of 19 frets, the guitar is ergonomically designed for children's hands.
The guitar is equipped with three steel strings: E1 (.11), B2 (.15) and G3 (.19). These strings correspond to the high strings of a regular guitar, which makes it easier to change over later. The bone nut measures 29 mm in width, which means that the distance between the strings remains suitable for children. The bridge is designed as a string-through-body with individual tabs for each string and can be adjusted in height with the enclosed Allen key.
A single-coil pickup in combination with a volume control ensures an authentic electric guitar sound that offers children a real playing experience. The guitar is therefore not only a learning instrument, but also a fully-fledged musical instrument for first stage performances or a living room concert at home.
