Description

This new 49-button semi-weighted keyboard offers advanced control of virtual instruments and DAWs via a high-resolution 4.3-inch color display.

CTRL 49 is designed to interact with the Virtual Instrument Player (VIP) software. VIP allows you to access almost any VSTi or effect in your computer directly from the keyboard. The integrated tagging function allows you to filter and search for individual instruments or effect patches in the plug-in library. Once a patch is selected, VIP automatically adjusts the keyboard's configuration to the selected plug-in, and at the same time the appropriate plug-in parameters are displayed on the color display.

Together with VIP the CTRL 49 can create a multi directly from the keyboard. With a Multi, up to 8 patches can be combined simultaneously from one or more plug-ins. Overlaying, mixing or panning the patches - no problem with VIP. The user can also set keyboard splits or transpose individual patches within the multis. All new created sounds can be saved and recalled at any time.

For optimal live performance the VIP software can also create "set lists" to quickly access the most popular virtual instruments and effects. With a single keystroke the user can switch to the next plug-in - without ever having to switch to a different computer.
