M-Audio Keystation 49 MK3 is a simple, powerful MIDI controller for controlling DAWs and playing virtual instruments on a Mac or PC. 49 velocity-sensitive keys and numerous useful controls expand the possibilities for musical expression and improve the recording workflow. Octave selection buttons, pitch bend and modulation wheels, and transport buttons let you use your music software without having to grab the mouse. The keystation also includes a 6.3mm sustain pedal input for an external pedal, such as the SP2 (sold separately).

Despite its robust design, the Keystation is lightweight. It's perfect for touring musicians or producers who need an intuitive MIDI controller with a natural feel for their studio. Keystation 49 MK3 is class-compliant, supports USB-MIDI connections and is simply powered via USB. Using the Apple iPad Camera Connection Kit (sold separately), the Keystation 49 MK3 is iOS compatible and can be used with audio apps on the iPad or another iOS device.

The Keystation 49 MK3 comes with a comprehensive software package.
