The Marantz Professional PMD561 digital recorder comes in a compact pocket size and was developed for the professional environment. It offers two high-quality studio-quality microphones for stereo recording and numerous advanced functions. In addition to the high-resolution 24-bit/96 kHz recording, the PMD561 is equipped with two XLR/jack inputs from Neutrik. Especially designed for reporters and journalists in radio and television, it is the right tool for you if your recordings mean your capital and you have to rely on professional technology.

The two integrated microphones are ideally matched to each other for all application scenarios, from reports and interviews to live and field recordings. For professional film recordings, the two microphone preamps provide 48 V phantom power for connecting high-quality condenser microphones. On the input side, an XLR/jack combination connector, an S/PDIF digital input and a mini jack connector are available. So you can record not only with the internal or external microphones, but also from the mixer, camera or other line-level signals.

For spontaneous recordings, the PMD561 offers an integrated pre-record function that automatically records the last 2 seconds in the background. The integrated Silent-Skip allows you to start a recording automatically as soon as a certain level is reached. For dictation recording, the integrated Retake function provides a comfortable working environment, the Marker function helps you to stay organized.
