The MO-1 two-way coaxial active loudspeaker is a sound control system for editing suites and small OB vans. It can also be used as a surround loudspeaker for small rooms in multi-channel systems and as a playback system for small conference sound reinforcement systems. In analogy to the RL series, the coaxial technology was also used here and the tweeter system was combined coaxially with a 100mm woofer system. The MO-1 has excellent locating characteristics and optimal phantom source imaging. Features that already characterize the control room loudspeakers of the RL series. Despite the very compact dimensions, a lower cut-off frequency of 100 Hz was achieved. Of course the MO-1 can be operated in combination with the BASIS 1. The psychological conditions of near-field monitoring were taken into account in the design of the transmission process in order to counteract symptoms of fatigue during prolonged monitoring. The power amplifier is located in the rear part of the housing. On the front panel there are one LED each for operation and overload indication, a level control as well as a bass reduction control.

The loudspeaker is designed with low magnetic dispersion. A table stand or tripod and wall bracket can be supplied on request. If required, a DC/AC converter 12V/24V DC to 230 V AC, suitable for two monitors, is available.
