The new edition of the MO-1, the MO-1 MKII, is not a simple product update. It is a completely new development that surpasses its predecessor in terms of both performance and functionality without forgetting what made the MO-1 so special. The MO-1 MKII is more than a control monitor - it is a fully-fledged studio monitor that is perfect for rooms with limited space. Ideal for short monitoring distances, it unfolds its acoustic qualities in OB vans, in compact studios, as an elegant surround loudspeaker or for the discerning audio and video professional directly at the desk.

The coaxial design, the incorruptible neutrality of sound coloration and the high-quality workmanship are features that the MO-1 has in common with all ME-Geithain products. However, the new MO-1 MKII relies on powerful PWM amplifiers, a wide-range switching power supply and signal processing using DSP. The speaker has two XLR inputs, allowing a mono downmix, and is optionally capable of receiving Dante streams and AES67 via the integrated network switch.

User-configurable DSP filters, presets and the adjustable time delay extend the range of functions to a level that is unparalleled in this class.
