Description

The RL 904 is a universally applicable main control room loudspeaker for medium and small sound, video and film studios. The coaxial arrangement of its loudspeaker systems ensures a high degree of naturalness and homogeneity of the point sound source imaging. The directivity optimized to medium listening distances guarantees excellent depth gradation and timbre neutrality. The loudspeaker is characterized by unusually low non-linear distortion even at high listening levels. The bass reflex system, which is tuned to a high impulse fidelity, makes a low lower cut-off frequency of 40 Hz possible. The entire system is also optimized for group runtime.The two-channel MOSFET power amplifier with electronic crossover is integrated into the rear of the housing and can be swung out for service purposes. When the overload limit is reached, an intermittent LED lights up. If the maximum level is exceeded, the output level is attenuated by 20 dB to protect the components from overload.The speaker system can be rotated 90 degrees to allow both upright and horizontal use of the speaker. In order to adapt the transmission path to the acoustic conditions of the playback room and the installation conditions, a low-frequency spatial adaptation in two continuously adjustable frequency bands is possible.Various special tripods and brackets are available as accessories; corresponding fastening elements are integrated into the loudspeaker cabinet. On request, the loudspeaker can be supplied with magnetic stray field minimisation.
