The ME Geithain Studio RL-930K is a 2-way main control loudspeaker for listening distances between 2.50 and 5 meters. The RL-930K is available in black and the cabinet is made of ash.

The RL 930K is aimed at professional users in medium-sized to large sound, video and film studios as well as demanding music lovers. The bundle size is optimized for listening distances between 2.50 and 5 meters. Low and medium frequencies are reproduced by a specially developed 10 inch cone loudspeaker. In the tweeter range, the RL 930K works with three vertically arranged 1 inch tweeter domes, which are located coaxially in front of the low-midrange system. The RL 930K is a 2-way control room loudspeaker that uses the K technology (cardioid polar pattern in the bass range) that has been tried and tested for years. This technology makes this transducer uncritical in the bass range and minimizes disturbing rear wall reflections. Thanks to the powerful integrated analog amplifiers and the high system sensitivity, this loudspeaker combines the uninterrupted homogeneity of a 2-way system with a limiting dynamic that is usually reserved for larger 3-way constructions. This results in extremely low non-linear distortion even at high listening levels. The loudspeaker is also optimized for group delay. The RL 930K achieves seamless tonal compatibility with all other Geithain products thanks to the sum total of the design measures. The high tonal neutrality, excellent three-dimensionality and depth gradation as well as the fatigue-free monitoring of even the most complex sound events also characterise this loudspeaker. The power amplifier module with electronic crossover is integrated into the rear of the cabinet and can be swivelled out for service purposes. An intermittent LED indicates when the overload limit has been reached. If the maximum level is exceeded, the output level is attenuated by 20 dB to protect the components from overload. In order to adapt the transmission curve to the acoustic conditions of the playback room, low-frequency local adaptation in two continuously adjustable frequency bands is possible.
