ME Geithain Studio RL-941 Esche furniert schwarz Product Details

Description

The RL 941 is aimed at professional users in medium to large sound, video and film studios as well as the discerning music lover. The bundling measurement is optimized for hearing distances between 2.5 and 4.00 m. Low and medium frequencies are reproduced by a specially developed 8 inch cone loudspeaker. In the tweeter range, the RL 941 operates with three vertically arranged 1 inch tweeter domes, which are located coaxially in front of the low-midrange system. The bass reflex system is optimized for impulse fidelity and ensures precise and dry bass reproduction down to a lower cut-off frequency of 38 Hz. Thanks to the powerful integrated analog amplifiers and the high system sensitivities, this loudspeaker combines the unbroken homogeneity and limit dynamics that are unmatched for a 2-way system. This results in extremely low non-linear distortions even at high listening levels. The loudspeaker is also optimized for group delay. The RL 941 achieves seamless sound compatibility with all other Geithain products thanks to the sum total of the design measures. The high tonal neutrality, excellent three-dimensionality and depth gradation as well as the fatigue-free monitoring of even the most complex sound events also characterise this loudspeaker.

The power amplifier module with electronic crossover is integrated in the rear of the housing and can be swivelled out for service purposes. When the overload limit is reached, an intermittent LED lights up. If the maximum level is exceeded, the output level is attenuated by 20 dB to protect the components from overload. In order to adapt the transmission path to the acoustic conditions of the playback room, a low-frequency spatial adaptation in two continuously adjustable frequency bands is possible.
