The MERZ Event SVE3 socket outlet distributor is equipped with a particularly resistant housing made of lightweight but extremely robust polyethylene. The material is resistant to weathering and ageing so that the distributor remains durable even with frequent outdoor use. The housing design is such that all sockets and appliance plugs up to 63A are located inside the housing, which provides additional protection against mechanical damage. The removable front and rear panels allow easy access to all components, facilitating annual testing and maintenance.
The integrated carrying handles and the compact design with dimensions of 400 x 340 x 350 mm make the SVE3 easy to transport and handle. All screws of the removable walls are anchored in metal threads so that they can be screwed in and out frequently and easily without increasing wear. The MERZ Event SVE3 distributor is built in protection class II (protective insulation), which offers additional protection during use. The mains indicator lights on the socket outlet side show the L1, L2 and L3 phases to enable quick and easy checking of the power supply. All three-phase outlets are fitted with single-pole circuit breakers, which increases safety by preventing the entire mains from failing in the event of a phase failure - a particularly practical feature when operating lighting systems.
The CEE sockets are arranged so that plugs with IP67 protection can be plugged in, which protects the distribution board against dust and water. To minimize the thermal load within the distribution board, all AC sockets are designed with wiring of at least 2.5 mm². The three-phase sockets and other critical connections even have a higher cross-section than prescribed by the standard, which significantly improves the continuous load capacity of the device.
The SVE3 distributor is fully compatible with other distributors in the Event series, meaning that several distributors can be easily interconnected if required. If required, the distributor can also be configured to customer specifications, for example with additional sockets or special feeds. The Event series includes variants with CEE plugs, Powerlock or multi-contact for the infeed in order to meet different connection requirements and enable optimum integration into existing infrastructures.
The MERZ SVE3 Event socket distributor impresses with a connected load of 22 kVA and a thermal dissipation capacity of 111W at 20°C. The power is fed in via a 1.5 meter HO7RN-F 5G6 cable with a 32A 5-pin CEE plug (400V). Two RCDs (63A, 0.03A) provide additional safety. There are two CEE sockets with 16A, one CEE socket with 32A and nine protective contact sockets with a fuse protection of 16A at 250V. This equipment makes the distributor the ideal choice for use at larger events and demanding applications.
