The xPad is the perfect addition for mobile music producers and anyone looking for an intuitive and flexible pad controller. Despite its small size, the controller impresses with professional features, easy plug-and-play integration, and maximum expressiveness. Whether in the studio, on the go, or on stage—the Midiplus xPad delivers precise control in a sleek design.
Midiplus has been synonymous for many years with compact and functional MIDI controllers that stand out for their user-friendliness, versatility, and attractive value for money. The company specifically targets musicians, producers, and performers who want to unleash their creativity without technical hurdles.
With the xPad, Midiplus has developed a well-designed controller that impresses in both home studios and on the go. The brand emphasizes easy integration into existing setups, intuitive operation, and a rugged housing—features that are particularly sought after by live performers and beatmakers.
The Midiplus xPad features 16 velocity-sensitive pads organized into three banks—giving you a total of up to 48 individually assignable pads. The pads are backlit and not only provide visual feedback but also deliver a precise playing feel that’s ideal for drum programming, sample triggering, or controlling clips in your DAW.
In addition to the pads, the xPad features two freely programmable encoders (rotary controls), two faders, and six buttons, which can also be assigned MIDI functions. These controls are perfect for managing parameters such as volume, effects, filter curves, or transport functions in your software.
The connection is made via a mini-USB port, which also serves as the power supply. The device is fully class-compliant, meaning no additional driver installation is required. Just plug it in—and get started. The xPad is compatible with macOS as well as Windows XP and later and works with all popular DAWs such as Ableton Live, FL Studio, Logic Pro, Cubase, Bitwig, and more.
Despite its wide range of features, the Midiplus xPad remains extremely portable. With compact dimensions of 252 x 175 x 36 mm and a weight of just 930 g, it fits easily into a backpack or bag—ideal for producers who travel frequently or work in tight spaces. A USB cable is included in the package—so you can get started right away.
The Midiplus xPad is the ideal solution for anyone looking for a compact, reliable, and versatile pad controller. It offers all the essential features for modern beat production, live performance, and studio work—without any unnecessary bells and whistles. The velocity-sensitive, backlit pads provide a responsive playing experience, while the assignable knobs and buttons offer maximum flexibility when controlling your music software.
Particularly noteworthy is its easy integration into existing setups: Plug-and-play without driver installation means you’re up and running in seconds. Thanks to its compact size, the xPad is also the perfect travel companion for mobile studios or spontaneous sessions on the go.
Whether you’re building beats, triggering loops, controlling effects, or preparing creative performances—the Midiplus xPad gives you the control you need in a compact and rugged design.
