Technical Details of the Mipro MM-204J Gooseneck Microphone, Cardioid, 385 mm

The Mipro MM-204J is a condenser microphone with a total length of 385 mm. The long, slender gooseneck allows for flexible positioning and enables the speaker to adjust the microphone optimally to their needs—whether standing at a lectern or sitting at a conference table.

A key feature is the specially developed microphone head with a movable mount that allows for 110° of upward and downward movement as well as 300° of lateral movement. This flexibility ensures that the microphone position can be perfectly adjusted at any time without compromising the design or sound quality.

The cardioid polar pattern ensures directional voice pickup while providing high resistance to feedback. This makes the MM-204J particularly well-suited for rooms with challenging acoustics or high sound levels. The maximum sound pressure level of 142 dB allows even louder voices to be captured without distortion—and without compromising sound quality.

The multi-layered microphone grille effectively reduces pop noises and minimizes air blasts that can occur when pronouncing “P” and “B” sounds. In addition, a vibration-isolated microphone suspension ensures that unwanted structure-borne noise—such as that caused by touching a desk or movement—is largely eliminated.

The MM-204J’s housing features a matte black finish that is non-reflective, allowing it to blend unobtrusively into any environment. It is ideal for permanent installations where unobtrusive design and reliable performance are required.

Why You Should Buy the Mipro MM-204J Gooseneck Microphone

The Mipro MM-204J 385mm Cardioid Gooseneck Microphone offers a professional solution for any application where speech is the primary focus. The combination of high sound quality, directional pickup, excellent feedback resistance, and mechanical flexibility makes it an ideal choice for conference rooms, lecterns, religious services, or studios.

The microphone really shines in acoustically challenging environments—such as large halls, areas with glass surfaces, or rooms with heavy reverberation. The gooseneck can be precisely positioned, ensuring the microphone head always remains aligned with the speaker. The sturdy construction guarantees a long service life, even with frequent use.

With its sleek, professional appearance and practical feature set, the MM-204J is a true problem-solver for any fixed or mobile sound reinforcement system. If you’re looking for a reliable, high-quality cardioid microphone for speech applications, this model is the perfect choice.
