Mipro TA-80 UHF 554-626 MHz Product Details

Description

The TA-80 is a small digital transmitter that can be connected and operated directly to all microphones with XLR plugs. Both dynamic and condenser microphones can be used. The transmitter has an integrated phantom power supply that can be switched in steps of 5 V, 12 V and 48 V and delivers a supply current of up to 10 mA. The phantom power can be switched off when using dynamic microphones. The various parameters of the transmitter can be set and displayed via the integrated LCD display and the function buttons. The plug-on transmitter is compatible with the receivers of the ACT-800 digital wireless system and is housed in a particularly lightweight but robust aluminum casing. Power is supplied by a high-quality, replaceable Li-ion battery type ICR 18500, which has been specially developed for professional applications. Charging takes place either directly in the transmitter by plugging the transmitter into the optionally available MP-80 charger or by removing the battery and charging it externally. It is therefore always possible to have a charged spare battery available and to extend the transmitter's operating time as required by quickly changing the battery. With a fully charged battery, the operating time is up to 12 hours. Even when using true condenser microphones with a phantom power supply of 48V and 10 mA, the operating time is still a very comfortable 5 hours on a single charge.
