Moog Muse Analoger Synthesizer Product Details

Description

Meet Muse

Muse is an intuitive and powerful instrument that builds on Moog's rich history while looking boldly to the future. This studio and performance centerpiece is powered by eight analog voices, each featuring two VCOs, a modulation VCO, two VCFs and a stereo VCA - all with that recognizable, kinetic analog quality.

Muse is a melting pot of classic Moog designs paired with forward-thinking controls in one complete instrument. For Muse, we've selected the best vintage Moog circuitry - inspired by the Moog Voyager oscillators, the MF-102 ring modulator, the CP3 mixer, the 902 VCA module and the 904a filter.

In 16 banks of 16 patches, you'll find beautiful pads, organic FM plucks, attention-grabbing leads, subterranean basses, stage-oriented key splits, plus 2 banks for your own sonic explorations. Explore and express yourself endlessly with cutting-edge digital controls for powerful modulation capabilities, dedicated macro knobs, customizable envelopes and multiple flexible LFOs. Sound shaping with Muse is a pleasure - synthesizer and synthesizer grow together as the adventure continues for years to come.

Muse is designed for and by modern musicians, producers and sound designers who appreciate performance-oriented controls, an intuitive layout of knobs per function and "More" menus for each module. Designed for stage and studio, Muse features a 61-key Fatar keyboard with velocity and channel aftertouch, a left-hand controller with pitch and modulation wheels, and a programmable macro knob that makes interacting with Muse inspiring, intriguing and playable.

A hypnotic Stereo Diffusion Delay™ processor is inspired by the digital rack delays of the golden era and features a unique and powerful set of diffusion, multi-tap and filter behaviors. Create complex echoes and diffuse sonic progressions that add dimension and depth to any patch.

In addition to the creative immediacy of Muse, the powerful arpeggiator invites you to develop melodic ideas with compelling patterns and rhythms. Muse's extensive sequencer lets you develop unique patterns and gestures. Take these discoveries further with parameter recording, generative/probabilistic features and detailed editing of every note in the sequence - Moog Muse is a limitless canvas of musical exploration.

The best of the best

A melting pot of classic analog Moog circuit designs is combined with forward-thinking digital controls in one complete instrument. Muse combines discrete oscillators derived from the Minimoog Voyager with a saturating mixer, dual transistor ladder filters and discrete stereo VCAs, all inspired by Moog Modular circuitry.

From stage to studio

With performance-oriented controls, an intuitive layout with knobs per function and "more" menus for each module, Muse was designed for and by modern musicians, producers and sound designers. In addition to Muse's creative immediacy, a powerful arpeggiator, chord memory and polyphonic sequencer offer deep editing capabilities and generative behaviors that drive musical exploration.

Mesmerizing

Inspired by the digital rack delays of the golden era, the mesmerizing Stereo Diffusion Delay™ processor features a unique and powerful set of diffusion, multi-tap and filter behaviors. Create complex echoes and diffuse sound smears that add dimension and depth to any patch.
