The Step Up Tip 9V c-ve is part of this product family and offers an elegant solution to power devices with 9V DC via a modern USB-C power source - be it via a PD-compatible power supply, a power bank with Quick Charge or another USB-C device with step-up functionality. The special design with spring-loaded DC tip ensures safe contact with a wide range of devices.
The Step Up Tip adapter provides an output voltage of 9V DC at a maximum current of 3A, which corresponds to a power output of up to 27 watts. The input is via a USB-C connection, which must be compatible with Power Delivery (PD) or Quick Charge (QC) in order to be able to use the step-up function reliably.
The DC tip is designed as a spring-loaded plug and fits 5.5 mm outer diameter with 2.1 mm or 2.5 mm inner diameter. The polarity is minus inside (center negative), as is standard for most effect devices and pedals. The red coloring of the adapter also ensures good visibility in the cable chaos.
