The Native Instruments Traktor Kontrol S4 MK2 has the same external dimensions as its predecessor, but in detail there are some crucial hardware improvements and performance optimizations. Especially the integration of the latest Traktor Pro features - "Remix Decks" and "Flux Mode" - are worth mentioning here.

Eye-catching are the aluminum tops of the new silicone-damped jog wheels, which allow ultra-precise cueing and scratching. The bright color-coded RGB buttons (for triggering cue points, loops and samples) are now also present on the S4 MK2. The new faders are more robust and work even more accurately. There are also dedicated Flux Mode controls and a separate Booth output.
