Description

The Nord Triple Pedal offers unprecedented functionality, plus dynamic control of mechanical playing sounds and the ability to work with half pedal or more complex pedal techniques (like "release and catch"). The right pedal serves as the sustain pedal. When the sustain pedal is operated on an acoustic grand or upright piano, the mechanical components create many different sounds, many of which are reproduced. The left pedal is the soft pedal, the Una Corda. When you press this pedal, the volume of all the notes played is lowered and the sound is muffled. The middle pedal is the sostenuto pedal. With this pedal you can hold selected notes while other notes are not affected. Only the notes you hold down while you press the pedal are held. Any other notes you play while holding down the pedal will sound out normally - as if the pedal were not being operated.
