Whether in the rehearsal room, in the studio or live on stage - guitarists today need more than just good effects. They need a device that responds precisely to their playing, faithfully reproduces familiar sounds and is easy to use at the same time. The NUX MG50LI-W Modeler & Profiler combines all this in a compact, modern housing. With its innovative TSAC-4K technology, intuitive user interface and comprehensive connectivity options, it is the perfect solution for anyone who doesn't want to compromise on sound or handling.
The NUX brand has built up an excellent reputation in the world of digital guitar processors in recent years. With the NUX MG50LI-W Modeler & Profiler, the manufacturer is once again setting new standards in the field of amp modeling, profilers and multi-effects. NUX combines modern digital technology with a user-friendly interface and a practical design. The focus is always on one thing: reproducing your personal sound as authentically as possible. As a pioneer in profiling technology and effect integration, the MG50LI-W from NUX is a real flagship device that will delight both professionals and ambitious amateur musicians.
The heart of the NUX MG50LI-W is the so-called TSAC-4K white-box modeling - a particularly detailed technology that reproduces the playing style, dynamics and sound characteristics of real amplifiers down to the smallest detail. These white-box models react to your playing so authentically that gain transitions, volume changes or velocity response appear seamless and natural. A total of 27 of these amplifier models are available, supplemented by 33 deep image profiles and up to 30 user-defined memory locations.
With NUX's own image profiling function, you can also record your own amplifiers and effects such as overdrives or distortion pedals and store them permanently in the device. This is particularly practical if you want to have your usual sound with you on tour without heavy equipment. The recorded profiles can be individually adjusted with equalizers and various power amp tube models - for a sound that perfectly matches the room, monitoring or PA system.
The stereo Cyber IR distortion with cabinet simulation also gives you the option of controlling the virtual miking of your cabinet down to the last detail. This allows you to select not only the microphone model, but also its position and distance. Hard highs, muddy lows or unclear mids are now a thing of the past - you decide how your guitar sits in the mix.
Another highlight is the high-resolution 5-inch color display, which is not only easy to read on stage, but also allows intuitive editing directly on the device. Alternatively, you can use the NUX Audio app via Bluetooth or USB for sound editing on your smartphone or computer - particularly practical for quick editing on the go or in the studio.
With two send and return loops, external pedals can be easily integrated into your signal chain. Numerous inputs and outputs are also available, including AUX, USB-C, MIDI, DI-Out and a separate headphone output. The integrated rechargeable battery allows mobile playing even without a power connection - ideal for street music, spontaneous sessions or rehearsals in unusual locations.
The NUX MG50LI-W Modeler & Profiler is much more than a classic multi-effects processor. It is a fully-fledged sound center that revolutionizes the workflow of many musicians. The ability to profile your own amps and combine them with modern technologies makes it a real game changer. Whether you want to reproduce a certain signature sound live, record on the go or simply experiment with new sound ideas - the MG50LI-W is your flexible and reliable companion.
Another advantage is that it is future-proof: NUX regularly provides its devices with firmware updates and new functions so that the MG50LI-W remains up-to-date in the long term. With a Bluetooth module, USB audio interface and comprehensive control options, it is also ideally equipped for hybrid setups and modern recording environments. In short: this device covers everything - from classic rock and modern metal to ambient, jazz or funk.
