The NUX NAI-24 USB audio interface is a modern, powerful 2-in/4-out desktop audio interface designed specifically for demanding musicians, producers, content creators and sound engineers. With support for up to 32-bit/192kHz sampling rates, excellent Class A preamps and innovative features such as an integrated compressor circuit, it offers everything you need for professional recording and editing - all in a compact, elegant format. The NAI-24 is a versatile studio partner that combines high-end sound quality with a sophisticated workflow.
NUX stands for modern audio solutions with innovative features and a first-class price-performance ratio. The brand is popular with musicians and producers alike when it comes to reliable, flexible and high-quality devices for home recording or mobile studios. With the NUX NAI-24 USB audio interface, NUX is making a clear statement: Sophisticated audio quality and professional signal processing do not have to be large or complicated - but compact, functional and intuitive.
At the heart of the NUX NAI-24 USB audio interface are the discrete Class A transistor preamplifiers, which boast ultra-high dynamics and excellent resolution. The measured dynamic range of up to 114 dB (A-weighted) and an extremely low THD+N value of 0.002 % ensure transparent, noise-free signals - ideal for vocals, acoustic instruments and line-level sources.
The integrated FET compression circuit (type 76PRE) offers several preset modes that are specially adapted to typical recording scenarios - from vocals to percussion and speech. This allows the input signal to be professionally enhanced directly during recording and optimized for later processing. Two microphone inputs with switchable 48V phantom power are available at all times - independently controllable per channel.
On the output side, the interface scores with a studio-grade transformer on the main output channels 1L/2R. This gives the signal a pleasant analog warmth that is otherwise only known from high-end studio technology. Two additional 3L/4R outputs offer additional routing options, for example for effect loops, cue mixes or external hardware.
The NUX NAI-24 USB audio interface has two powerful, independent headphone amplifiers with freely routable channels. This allows musicians and engineers to monitor different mixes simultaneously - an important feature for professional recording situations. Ultra-low latency direct monitoring ensures that there are no disruptive delays between input and output - ideal for real-time performance, vocals or instrumental recording.
Signal processing is carried out via high-quality XLR and 6.35 mm jack connections, which ensure stable and loss-free transmission. USB operation makes the interface particularly portable, as no additional power supply unit is required. Everything is powered directly via the computer's USB port - perfect for use with laptops, compact setups or mobile workstations.
The measured values of the NUX NAI-24 USB audio interface speak for themselves: a dynamic range of up to 114 dB, a frequency range of 20 Hz to 20 kHz and extremely low distortion (THD+N below 0.002 %) guarantee the highest audio quality. Whether for vocal recordings, line-in signals or guitars via the Hi-Z input - the interface always remains neutral, clear and rich in detail.
The integrated line and instrument inputs have adjustable gain ranges and high impedance values for optimum signal processing. At 30 mW into 32 ohms, the headphone outputs also deliver enough power to drive even high-impedance studio headphones without any problems. Despite its extensive features, the NAI-24 remains mobile and flexible with its compact dimensions of 194 x 128 x 67 mm and a weight of just 722 g.
