The NUX NES-1 Digital Aerophone and MIDI Controller White is an innovative electronic wind instrument that offers musicians an impressive range of sonic possibilities. With its 50 built-in instrument sounds, including woodwinds, brass, strings, synthesizers and traditional Chinese instruments, the NES-1 provides a rich and versatile musical experience. This instrument is designed to be used for both traditional music and modern electronic sound experiments.
The NES-1 is ergonomically designed and offers intuitive operation. Support for saxophone and trumpet fingerings makes it easy to get started and allows musicians to choose their preferred playing style. Thanks to the octave buttons (+1, +2, -1) and the "overblowing" technique, musicians can explore a variety of timbres and playing techniques. A dedicated preset switch allows seamless switching between preferred settings.
The versatility of the NES-1 is complemented by advanced features such as the bite function and pitch bend wheel. The bite function allows precise control over breath pressure and pitch, while the pitch bend wheel provides modulation and vibrato effects. Musicians can also choose from five reverb presets and make numerous adjustments such as breathing curves, transposition and preset selection. All settings are easily accessible via the ergonomic and easy-to-read color LCD display.
The NES-1 can be used both independently and in conjunction with external devices. Two integrated speakers provide powerful and balanced sound reproduction, ideal for solo performances or small groups. The wireless 5.8 GHz WiFi system allows the instrument to be connected wirelessly to a mixing console, powered speakers or an audio interface. The wireless receiver is charged directly in the instrument and conveniently stored in the integrated compartment. In addition, the Bluetooth module offers the option of playing backing tracks from mobile devices.
The NES-1 also functions as a MIDI controller, expanding the creative possibilities in a digital environment. The USB-C port is used for charging, firmware updates and as a MIDI interface, making the instrument versatile for use in studio and stage environments.
