Oktava microphones are now more than just a secret tip. The octavas have long since grown alongside big studios and live recordings alongside their AKG, Neumann, Sennheiser and other microphones because of their outstanding qualities.For some, the octavas, for price reasons, are the only mics of this quality standard. The price-performance ratio of these microphones, with amazingly lush equipment, is simply outstanding.
The capsules are selected, tested, measured and selected as matched pairs in Russia. The selection takes place directly in Oktava factory in Tula.Each capsule contains an individual frequency diagram, and for each pair of capsules there is an individual stereoscopic frequency diagram, where the two capsules are recorded on a paper.
The Russian cult micro is comparable to the Neumann KM series and Schoeps Mikros.
