The One Control 1 Loop Box was developed as the smallest possible true bypass loop switcher for an effects loop. Thanks to the targeted optimization and special arrangement of the circuit boards, One Control is the first manufacturer in the world to succeed in building such a small true bypass looper on a modern PCB basis. The design was developed with special care to create extremely small PCBs that fit into the compact housing of the 1 Loop Box.

In addition to the small size, the circuit has also been designed to be much more robust and durable than comparable switchers. The 1 Loop Box can be used for many different purposes. When the 1 Loop is in bypass mode, the input signal is routed directly to the output socket. When the pedal is activated, the input signal comes from the send socket and the signal fed into the return socket is routed to the output. This means that the One Control 1 Loop Box can also be used as an A/B box, mute switch or input selector in addition to its classic application as a true bypass loop switcher.
