Palmer AoC Loom XLRm Audio over Cat Adapterkabel etherCON auf 4 x XLR male Product Details

Description

Palmer AoC Loom XLRm - Audio-over-Cat adapter cable etherCON to 4 x XLR Male

The Palmer AoC Loom XLRm is a compact, professional multicore adapter that allows up to four analog, balanced audio signals or eight digital AES3 signals to be transmitted via a single Ethernet cable. Equipped with etherCON to 4 x XLR male connectors, this system is ideal for stage, studio, fixed installation or mobile production - wherever efficient signal routing is required.

The adapter cable was developed by Palmer in Germany and combines reliable technology with sophisticated design. The AES72 type 5E wiring makes it fully compatible with other AoC systems, CAT5e (or higher) network cables and a wide range of professional audio, DMX and MIDI applications.

Four outputs via one network cable - efficient and professional

The etherCON connection enables a lock-proof connection with standard RJ45 network cables or professional etherCON cables. Four balanced analog signals or even eight AES3 digital signals can be transmitted via the four wire pairs of a network cable - space-saving, cost-efficient and interference-free.

The four XLR male outputs are numbered and color-coded (red, green, blue, white) so that they can be quickly assigned - ideal for live situations where every second counts. The use of high-quality Neutrik components ensures long-lasting connection reliability even with intensive use.

Extremely robust - built for everyday professional use

The housing of the adapter is made from a durable combination of aluminum and steel. The 0.5 m long cable outlets are also provided with a mesh braid jacket that reliably protects the conductor pairs against mechanical influences. This keeps the cable flexible but robust - ideal for touring, studios or rough use in the event sector.

The OFC conductors (oxygen-free copper) used ensure loss-free signal transmission with maximum sound fidelity. The frequency range extends from 0 Hz to 20 kHz, the maximum input level is +32 dBu and the THD value is less than 0.0005 % - an absolutely professional level.

Full compatibility and flexible application options

The AES72 Type 5E wiring ensures full system compatibility with other AoC products and third-party solutions that follow this standard. In addition to audio signals, the adapter also supports DMX or MIDI signals and is compatible with 48V phantom power - a special feature that makes it even more versatile.

Whether for live concerts, studio sessions, press conferences or permanent installations - the Palmer AoC Loom XLRm offers maximum signal quality, clarity and user-friendliness with minimum cable requirements.

Conclusion: Compact multicore replacement with professional performance

The Palmer AoC Loom XLRm is an intelligent, robust and professional solution for signal routing via Cat cables. With high-quality technology, durable construction and outstanding audio quality, this adapter cable is a real all-rounder for stage, studio and fixed installations. It saves space, reduces cable clutter and is also a real visual asset to any setup.
