The Palmer ORBIT 11 in elegant black is a state-of-the-art, active 3-way studio monitor that combines uncompromising precision, enormous power reserves and innovative acoustic technology. Designed for professional studios, mixing and mastering environments and immersive audio setups, the ORBIT 11 delivers detailed reproduction across the entire frequency range - from the deepest sub-bass to the finest treble.
A coaxial point source consisting of a 6.5" midrange driver and a 1" tweeter works in the center. This design ensures exact phasing and an exceptionally precise stereo stage. A constant directivity of 120° × 120° ensures even sound distribution throughout the sweet spot.
Two impulse-compensated 8" woofers deliver controlled, low-resonance bass down to 28 Hz (-3 dB). The integrated cardioid design reduces rear sound components and minimizes disturbing room reflections - ideal for demanding studio environments. The advanced low-end design also improves wall coupling and reduces cancellations.
With 1000 W peak power and 400 W RMS, the ORBIT 11 offers enormous dynamic reserves at a maximum sound pressure level of 116 dB SPL. The integrated FIR filters ensure linear phase with minimal latency, while the 96 kHz / 24-bit DAC and DSP guarantee high-resolution signal processing.
The ORBIT 11 has analog and AES3 inputs and can be seamlessly integrated into modern studio environments. Desk and wall presets can be selected via the clearly laid out control panel to optimally adapt the monitor to the respective setup. Protective functions such as limiter, multiband limiter and overheating protection ensure safe continuous operation.
The solid die-cast aluminium housing minimizes housing resonances and ensures maximum stability. In addition to the black version, the ORBIT 11 is also available in white - to match your individual studio design.
