The Palmer ORBIT 11 W in elegant white is a powerful, active 3-way studio monitor with a coaxial point source design and impressive dynamics. Designed for professional studio applications, mixing, mastering and immersive audio formats, this monitor offers maximum precision across the entire frequency range - combined with controlled directivity and state-of-the-art DSP technology.
At the center of the ORBIT 11 is a coaxial point source with a 6.5" midrange driver and 1" tweeter. This design ensures exact phasing, precise transients and an exceptionally stable stereo stage. With a constant directivity of 120° × 120°, uniform dispersion is guaranteed across the entire listening area.
The two impulse-compensated 8" woofers deliver deep, low-resonance bass down to 28 Hz (-3 dB). The advanced low-end design improves wall coupling and minimizes cancellations in the room. The integrated cardioid design additionally reduces rear sound components and thus disruptive room reflections - ideal for demanding studio situations.
With a peak power of 1000 W and 400 W RMS, the ORBIT 11 offers enormous power reserves and a maximum sound pressure level of 116 dB SPL. FIR filters ensure linear phase with minimal latency - perfect for precise assessment of transients and low frequencies. The integrated 96 kHz / 24-bit DAC and DSP guarantee the highest resolution.
The monitor has analog inputs and AES3 for digital signal routing. Desk and wall presets can be selected via the clearly laid out control panel to optimally adapt the monitor to the respective positioning. Protective functions such as limiter, multiband limiter and overheating protection ensure reliable operation.
The robust die-cast aluminium housing minimizes housing resonances and ensures maximum stability. In addition to the white version, the ORBIT 11 is also available in black - to match your studio setup.
The Palmer ORBIT 11 W is a state-of-the-art studio monitor for professional applications that impresses with its coaxial precision, controlled bass and linear phase technology. Ideal for sound engineers, producers and demanding studios that require uncompromising sound fidelity.
