The Palmer PHDA 02 is a headphone amplifier that is ideal for reference listening, recordings and live sessions. Due to the simple design, the device can be operated quickly and easily and mounted in a 19" rack, as it was designed for 1 RU. With the operational amplifiers and the output amplifiers, which were additionally equipped with power transistors on heat sinks, one receives an extremely low-noise and loss-free signal.

On the front panel it is possible to switch between three modes. You have the options to listen in mono, stereo or dual-mono. On the front panel there are also rotary controls to adjust the volume or in dual-mono mode independent volume settings for left and right. Furthermore, the Ohm button on the front panel offers influence on the power impedance. Thus, one has the choice to switch between 8 and 200 ohms that all commercially available headphones can be connected.
