Palmer RIVER inn active DI box 2-channel instrument DI box

The Palmer RIVER inn is a high-quality active DI box with two channels that has been specially developed for instruments such as electric guitar, electric bass, electric piano, acoustic instruments with piezo pickups and synthesizers. Thanks to the active, low-noise circuit with high input impedance, it transmits the instrument signal particularly transparently and without treble or bass loss. This makes the DI box ideal for stage, studio or recording.

Thanks to the two-channel design, either two instruments can be connected simultaneously or stereo signals can be processed. In addition, the DI box has a sum output that can be used to combine both signals - practical if mixer channels are to be saved.

Optimum signal quality for instruments

The high input impedance of 500 kΩ ensures that instruments with magnetic pickups or piezo pickups in particular retain their full sound spectrum. As a result, the natural sound of guitar, bass or Rhodes electric piano is fully preserved.

Flexible routing and amplifier integration

The input signal can be routed directly to an instrument amplifier via the THRU output. With the switchable 30 dB pre-attenuation, the DI box can also be looped in between the amplifier output and the loudspeaker to pick up the sound of the amplifier.

Clean signal transmission without interference

The balanced XLR outputs provide a low-interference signal even over long cable runs. Built-in transformers ensure galvanic isolation and prevent ground loops. Interference can be quickly eliminated using the ground lift switches.

Flexible power supply

The Palmer RIVER inn can be operated either via 48 V phantom power or via an external power supply unit (9-24 V DC).
