The CDJ-2000NXS2 is now equipped with a 96 kHz/24-bit audio interface and supports FLAC and Apple Lossless Audio (ALAC). Browsing and loading tracks is now even more intuitive thanks to the high-resolution touch screen. The Qwerty keyboard and the track search with filter function take care of this. In addition, the display offers space for displaying multi-coloured waveforms and more detailed rekordbox™ information, giving instant access to most popular features. The new version of the player now has two banks of four hot cues each, making a total of eight hot cues. If that's not enough, a DDJ-SP1 controller can be connected to provide even more hot cues and loops via Pro DJ Link and control up to four players from a single device.

With the help of Pro DJ Link, up to four players can use tracks from a common source. It also provides a lot more information and features like beat sync and beat countdown. New additions:

Complete rekordbox track information at a glance, including the NEW color-coded memory cues

It is still possible to analyse and prepare tracks in rekordbox. All important information is shown on the player's display, including BPM, beat countdown and phase display. The CDJ-2000NXS2 now includes memory cues, making it possible to name cues, e.g. "my breakdown", assign a colour to them and show the corresponding information on the CDJ-2000NXS2 display.
