The deep, heavily flamed maple wood in a beautiful Sapphire Blue high-gloss finish is framed by a black back, while the mahogany body combined with the glued-in neck ensures long sustain and a singing tone. But there's twang in the Custom 22, too, as the open, high-output 85/15 Type S humbuckers can be split via a push-pull selector switch (tone knob)!
