The NX 910-A offers innovative technologies and otherworldly sound for solo musicians, bands and DJs. The combination of a 1.75-inch compression driver, a 10-inch woofer, a 2-channel 2100W power amplifier and a Constant Directivity Waveguide provides consistent 100° x 60° coverage of the listening area with up to 130 dB SPL of distortion-free sound. Whether used as a stand-alone FOH system, satellite (with subwoofer), stage monitor or flown: The compact NX 910-A is powerful and reliable. Thanks to multiple mounting points, it is particularly suitable for demanding live sound applications. All NX 9 Series models feature precisely tuned FiRPHASE and Bass Motion Control algorithms, for absolute transparency and rich, powerful bass response. The easily transportable, tour-ready wooden enclosure is durable and can be securely mounted on a tripod, flying, wall or truss via the various mounting points.
Power that moves
The most powerful power amplifier in its class. RCF transducers are constantly being optimized - and so are the power amplifiers. With 2100 W of power, the NX 9 Series 2-channel Class D power amplifier is 50 percent more powerful than its predecessors, achieving impressive sound pressure levels with ultra-fast attack and natural transient response with low heat loss. The NX 9 speakers are so energy efficient that they do not require a ventilation fan. Instead, the power amplifier is mounted in the rear of the cabinet to a fixed heat exchanger with no moving parts. The signal input path has been optimized for low distortion and, for added safety, features an advanced limiter that preserves the sound characteristics of the input signal at all levels. All NX 9 power amplifiers are standardized for maximum safety (EN62368-1) and are powered by a highly efficient yet ultra-lightweight switching power supply.
First-class transducer
RCF's lightweight drivers offer impressive performance. To ensure maximum reliability and optimal interaction of all components, all transducers were specially designed by RCF engineers in Italy. The novel design makes the 1.75-inch voice coil with polyimide capton dome ten times more stable than its predecessors, ensuring more accurate reproduction and improved longevity. The revised phase plug ensures a more transparent sound and less distortion. The special woofer design ensures that the system runs more stably under high load, distorts less and does not overheat as quickly.
Bass Motion Control
To achieve extended bass response and more power, our design team replaced the standard high-pass filter with cutting-edge technology. Introducing: BMC (Bass Motion Control), our innovative feature for controlling woofer excursion. NX 9 speakers with BMC handle even the lowest audible frequencies without compromising woofer stability for linear, extended bass response and balanced sound. BMC is an algorithm that comprehensively analyzes the dynamic behavior of the woofer and uses this specific data to limit only excessive excursions. This allows complete freedom in signal reproduction through the transducer. Standard high-pass filters are designed to prevent damage to the woofer, but at the same time they also influence the phase behavior. Thanks to the new BMC algorithm, this problem is now history. Combined with FiRPHASE technology, BMC takes the NX 9 Series to a new level of audio performance previously unheard of in this class of loudspeaker.
Robust and suitable for touring
The NX 9 speakers shine as FOH systems or even as floor monitors. This great flexibility makes them the perfect choice for a variety of live sound applications. Thanks to the side handles (one handle on the top for the NX 910-A), the durable wooden cabinets are easy to transport. A threaded steel flange is located on the bottom for mounting on a tripod or spacer pole. All models can alternatively be mounted flying, on a wall or on a truss using the six integrated M10 mounting points. With their wooden enclosure, textured finish and robust front grille, the NX 9 Series boxes are suitable for both fixed installations and intensive touring use.
