Are you looking for a particularly compact, powerful active speaker for precise speech and vocal reproduction or as a flexible line array element? The RCF NXL 14-A W is the most compact active speaker in the professional NXL series and impresses with a maximum sound pressure level of 128 dB, a 2100 W 2-channel Class D power amplifier and state-of-the-art transducer technology. Designed for maximum precision and easy handling, it is ideal for live applications, installations or immersive systems.
In the white finish (RAL 9003), the RCF NXL 14-A W blends harmoniously into modern stage and installation concepts - without compromising on performance or sound quality.
The RCF NXL 14-A W has a powerful 2-channel Class D power amplifier with a total of 2100 W peak. Of this, 700 W peak is allocated to the high frequencies and 1400 W peak to the low frequencies. The maximum sound pressure level is 128 dB SPL at 1 meter.
The driver configuration consists of two symmetrically arranged 6-inch neodymium high-performance woofers with a 2.0'' voice coil and a 1.75-inch PKX/neodymium compression driver (1.0'' output, 1.75'' voice coil). The crossover frequency is 1200 Hz. The linear frequency response ranges from 70 Hz to 20,000 Hz.
A special feature of the RCF NXL 14-A W is the rotatable 100° x 70° TRW waveguide. It allows the dispersion characteristics to be flexibly adapted to different application scenarios.
With a horizontal dispersion angle of 100° and a vertical angle of 70°, the speaker ensures even sound distribution - ideal for speech and vocal applications and as a fill speaker.
The integrated FiRPHASE technology ensures a linear phase response for a transparent and precise sound image. In addition, Bass Motion Control ensures intelligent control of the woofer excursion and supports controlled, powerful bass reproduction.
The Linear, Boost and Stage presets allow the speaker to be optimally adapted to different applications. A fast limiter and protection circuits against overload (excursion) ensure operational safety.
The RCF NXL 14-A W offers combo XLR/jack inputs (balanced/unbalanced) and XLR outputs. The input sensitivity is -2 dBu / +4 dBu. Powercon TRUE1 TOP IN/OUT connections are available for the power supply.
The housing is made of robust plywood and is equipped with high-quality hardware: 2 x M10 top and bottom, 2 x pin D.10 and 2 handles top and bottom. A quick-fit mount enables fast installation on a distance rod. The sturdy steel grille reliably protects the components.
With dimensions of 567 mm height, 197 mm width and 270 mm depth and a weight of 12.8 kg, the NXL 14-A W is particularly easy to transport and versatile.
