Are you looking for a particularly compact, powerful active speaker for precise speech and vocal reproduction or as a flexible line array element? The RCF NXL 14-A is the most compact active speaker in the professional NXL series and delivers up to 128 dB maximum sound pressure with a total output of 2100 W peak. Developed for maximum precision and versatile live applications, it combines modern transducer technology with intelligent DSP processing.
Whether as a compact live sound reinforcement system in combination with subwoofers from the SUB series, as fill speakers or in immersive systems - the NXL 14-A offers maximum flexibility with minimum space requirements.
The RCF NXL 14-A has a powerful 2-channel Class D power amplifier with a total of 2100 W peak. Of this, 700 W peak is allocated to the high frequencies and 1400 W peak to the low frequencies. The maximum sound pressure level is 128 dB SPL at 1 meter.
The driver configuration consists of two symmetrically arranged 6-inch neodymium high-performance woofers with a 2.0'' voice coil and a 1.75-inch PKX/neodymium compression driver (1.0'' output, 1.75'' voice coil). The linear frequency response ranges from 70 Hz to 20,000 Hz, the crossover frequency is 1200 Hz.
A special feature of the RCF NXL 14-A is the rotatable 100° x 70° TRW waveguide. It allows the dispersion characteristics to be flexibly adapted to different application scenarios - both vertically and horizontally.
With a horizontal dispersion angle of 100° and a vertical angle of 70°, the speaker ensures even sound distribution and high speech intelligibility.
The integrated FiRPHASE technology ensures a linear phase response for a particularly transparent and precise sound image. In addition, Bass Motion Control ensures intelligent control of the woofer excursion and supports controlled, powerful bass reproduction.
The NXL 14-A can be optimally adapted to different applications using the Linear, Boost and Stage presets as well as the volume control. A fast limiter and protection circuits against overload (excursion) ensure operational safety.
The housing is made of durable plywood and is designed for professional touring use. The equipment includes 2 x M10 mounting points at the top and bottom and 2 x pin D.10. Two handles at the top and bottom make transportation easier.
A quick-fit mount enables fast installation on a distance rod. Powercon TRUE1 TOP IN/OUT connections are available for the power supply. The input sockets are designed as combo XLR/jack, with XLR outputs for signal forwarding.
With dimensions of 567 x 197 x 270 mm and a weight of 12.8 kg, the NXL 14-A is particularly easy to transport and versatile.
