Are you looking for a powerful 15" subwoofer with modern DSP control and perfect tuning for your tops? The RCF SUB 15-AX active 15" PA subwoofer with DSP combines a 2200 watt Class D power amplifier module with comprehensive digital signal processing, color touch panel and Bluetooth® remote control via the LiveRemote app. Designed for small to medium-sized venues, it delivers up to 133 dB maximum sound pressure with high transparency and impressive headroom.
The SUB AX series has been specially designed for mobile applications. The SUB 15-AX takes over the central speaker management and ensures optimum coordination between the subwoofer and top speakers.
The RCF SUB 15-AX active 15" PA subwoofer with DSP has a powerful 2200 W peak (1100 W RMS) Class D power amplifier. In combination with a 15-inch woofer with a 3.0" voice coil in a bass reflex enclosure, it achieves a maximum sound pressure level of 133 dB.
The frequency response of 35 Hz to 120 Hz ensures a precise and powerful bass foundation. The integrated Bass Motion Control supports controlled and extended bass reproduction at any volume.
The key to an optimally tuned sound system lies in the precise combination of subwoofer and top unit. Thanks to coordinated crossover presets for RCF speakers, your system is ready for use in just a few steps: connect your tops to the SUB 15-AX, select the appropriate preset via the control panel - and start your show.
The integrated FiRPHASE technology ensures a linear phase response down to the lowest frequencies and thus improves the overall sound quality. Two crossovers, 8-band EQs, routing, delays and presets for directional bass (cardioid) allow for flexible system customization.
The subwoofer is controlled via a color touchscreen display for parameter management and monitoring as well as an encoder for volume and data input. The subwoofer can also be controlled remotely via Bluetooth® using the LiveRemote app.
The SUB 15-AX offers two XLR/jack combo inputs (balanced/unbalanced) with linkout and two XLR crossover outputs. The input sensitivity is -2 dBu / +4 dBu. A moisture-protected powerCON TRUE1 TOP input and output is available for the power supply.
The housing is made of multiplex hardwood (plywood) with a durable polyurea coating. A handle on each side facilitates transportation, while an M20 thread enables the secure installation of a spacer rod. With dimensions of 590 x 420 x 590 mm and a weight of 31.4 kg, the subwoofer is both compact and powerful.
