The RCF SUB 18-AS active 18" PA subwoofer offers an impressive 2200 watts peak power, up to 135 dB maximum sound pressure and an extended frequency range from 35 Hz to 400 Hz. The RCF SUB 18-AS active 18" PA subwoofer uses a powerful 2200 W peak Class D power amplifier. It enables sound pressure levels of up to 135 dB with impressive headroom. The efficient convection cooling ensures reliable operation in professional use.
The integrated soft limiter and a thermal protection circuit ensure additional safety and protect the system from overloading.
Equipped with an 18-inch woofer and a 4.0-inch voice coil, the SUB 18-AS delivers powerful and precise bass reproduction. The high-quality transducer was designed for demanding live applications.
The integrated Bass Motion Control algorithm supports extended and controlled bass reproduction at any volume. This ensures that the bass range remains defined and powerful even at high levels.
The connection panel offers mono/stereo combo inputs (XLR/Jack) for balanced and unbalanced signals. An XLR stereo link and XLR outputs with integrated crossover are also available.
The volume, polarity and frequency of the low-pass filter can be adjusted on the rear panel. The selectable low-pass frequency enables optimum adaptation to different tops and areas of application.
The enclosure of the RCF SUB 18-AS active 18" PA subwoofer is made of Baltic birch multiplex and has a scratch-resistant polyurea coating. This robust construction makes the subwoofer suitable for touring and durable.
Two side handles make transportation easier. An M20 thread enables a distance rod to be mounted securely. The sturdy steel grille reliably protects the speaker.
With dimensions of 693 mm high, 505 mm wide and 685 mm deep and a weight of 44.5 kg, the SUB 18-AS offers a well thought-out combination of performance and mobility.
