The RCF SUB 8008-AS double 18" active PA subwoofer was developed for the highest demands in live sound. With two 18" high-performance woofers, a powerful 4400 W Class D power amplifier and a maximum sound pressure level of up to 137 dB, this subwoofer delivers impressive performance for bands, DJs, clubs and rental companies.

The RCF SUB 8008-AS double 18" active PA subwoofer uses a 2-channel Class D power amplifier with a total output of 4400 W peak. This handles extremely high currents and enables sound pressure levels of up to 137 dB. The high headroom ensures clean, distortion-free bass reproduction even at maximum load.
The ultra-fast attack with precise power transmission ensures dynamic and controlled bass reproduction. Cooling is achieved via convection and forced ventilation, which supports efficient heat dissipation.
The subwoofer is equipped with two 18-inch high-performance woofers, each with a 4.0" voice coil and powerful ceramic magnet. These transducers are specially designed for demanding live sound applications and deliver a clean, powerful bass response.
The linear frequency response from 30 Hz to 120 Hz ensures a wide transmission range in the low frequency segment. This makes the SUB 8008-AS ideal as a foundation for professional sound reinforcement systems.
Numerous setting options are available on the rear panel. A total of 12 presets are integrated, including 8 crossover presets and 4 cardioid presets. In addition, the crossover frequency, polarity (phase switch), deep/punch mode and output delay can be set.
The integrated soft limiter and protection circuits for thermal, excursion and RMS ensure reliable operation even under demanding conditions.
The SUB 8008-AS has XLR inputs (balanced/unbalanced) and XLR outputs with an input sensitivity of -2 dBu / +4 dBu. IP-certified powerCON TRUE1 TOP inputs and outputs are available for the power supply.
The robust touring enclosure is made of plywood and has a scratch-resistant polyurea coating. Two side handles facilitate transportation. Two M20 threads and an M20 threaded mount (pole mount/cap) are available for mounting. The sturdy steel grille reliably protects the speakers.
With dimensions of 550 mm height, 1180 mm width and 700 mm depth and a weight of 80 kg, this subwoofer is designed for professional applications and impresses with its stable construction and high output power.
