The RP-1000 MK2 is the ideal turntable for aspiring DJs and hi-fi enthusiasts. The MK2 version features a number of improvements, such as the newly developed top panel design and redesigned metal buttons with an improved feel. Sophisticated belt drive and precision-manufactured die-cast platter: The sophisticated belt drive in the RP-1000 USB MK2 is one of the most powerful of its kind. Compared to a turntable with a direct drive, the RP-1000 MK2 transmits the power indirectly to the drive hub - the precision-manufactured die-cast platter is therefore decoupled from the motor. The elastic, high-quality rubber belt absorbs vibrations and ambient noise, resulting in distortion-free playback. The pitch section with a range of +/-10 % is also suitable for the finest tempo adjustments. Statically balanced S-shaped tonearm: The RP-1000 MK2 has a statically balanced, S-shaped tonearm with hydraulic lift and anti-skating mechanism. A wide range of pickup systems can be connected via the universal connection for pickup systems (SME). Newly developed top panel and robust housing design: The new top panel design in elegant deep black metallic is equipped with revised metallic buttons for start/stop and speed. The improved stop ensures clear haptic feedback. The aluminum needle light can be extended at the touch of a button and ensures that the needle position is clearly visible even in the dark. The robust construction with optimized damping properties has a vibration-absorbing effect, while shock-absorbing feet on the underside of the turntable contribute to further isolation. With cartridge and headshell (made by Ortofon in Denmark): Included with the RP-1000 MK2 is a high-quality OM Black cartridge, which is handmade by Ortofon in Denmark, as well as a matching headshell.
